Traditionally, women have been associated with brewing and it remained a female task throughout the medieval period. In one of the heroic sagas a king resolved the jealousy between his two wives by deciding to keep the one who presented him with the better beer on his return from war.  A speaking of kings this tankard is fit for one. It is large and in charge.  You will not have a problem with a good time once you reach the bottom of this.  As this tankard is made from all natural horn the look, size, and capacity may vary slightly.  No two of these tankards are a like so you will be getting a unique piece just to you.  Hand carved and polished from real horn with a wooden flat bottom.  The inside is coated with a food grade sealant. Please not there may be a slight odor as this is a natural item. The color and shape may vary and may not be exactly like the picture. This is an all-natural item and you may need to coat inside with beeswax again. In order to do this you will melt the beeswax and pour it in the horn. Wait for it to dry and then pull it out. Please wash with a gentle detergent and polish with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out. And from time to time you will want to use beeswax. The variations in their shapes and colors can only be made by nature; thus a horn may have natural blemishes which will not affect its functionality but does verify its authenticity
