The Bardiche is a two-handed polearm that developed from the late Danish axe. This historically-accurate replica Bardiche has been masterfully forged by hand using high carbon steel and features a gleaming polished finish with a massive 20 ½ -inch crescent-shaped blade. Holes have been punched through the blade for weight reduction and added detail, and the points are thick and rounded for better nick resistance and safety. Attached to the spine of the blade is a large socket piece used along with the pre-drilled end piece of the blade to attach to a wooden shaft of your choice. This replica is quite hefty, weighing in at about 3 pounds, so it is recommended to use a strong wood for the shaft. This piece isn’t just for show, so attach a sturdy spear shaft and off to the reenactment you go! Overall Length: 22.5 Inches, Blade Length: 20.5 Inches
