This replica lochaber is hand forged from high carbon steel and features a massive 20-inch crescent blade that affixes to your choice of wooden shaft using two thick sockets welded onto the blade’s spine. This piece has been given a special heat treatment to create a historically authentic blackened finish that will assist in making your costume appear as though it stepped straight out of the 15th Century. This replica is quite hefty, weighing in at about 4 pounds, so it is recommended to use a strong wood for the shaft.
