This battle-ready training katana has been meticulously forged by hand from expert artisans using strong T10 steel. The razor-sharp blade has a beautifully sand polished finish with a deep bohi and traditional wave-like hamon resulting from careful clay-tempering process. The full tang of the blade is affixed to the smooth plain black handle with bamboo pegs. A pure brass habaki wraps around the base of the blade next to the handle. Included with this functional, handmade collector’s piece is a matching black hardwood scabbard that smoothly meets the handle for an overall sleek and flush appearance, and features an intricate engraved design exposing the natural wood. A black dust cover is also included to keep your sword safe and protected from the elements when not in use.
