Sabatons

A sabaton, also known as solleret, is part of a knight’s medieval armor that covers the foot. Sabatons typically end in a tapered point that is well past the toes of the wearer. Wars were prevalent in medieval times, and protecting each and every part of the body was necessary to survive the consequences of a battle.
