The Guard from Above Medieval Kettle Helmet is a forged 16G steel piece. A full brim protects the wearer from attackers that are above them, which is why they were preferred for sieges. The brim extends 2.5 inches, allowing for the face and neck to be protected. The interior features a leather liner which can be laced together to help the piece stay in place better.
