Fire Burned Medieval Drinking Horn with Metal Stand

Decorated with distinctive fire burned designs, this deluxe drinking horn is made from 100% pure cow horn and holds approximately 12-18 oz of water, wine, ale, beer, or other drink. The exterior is polished to a shiny surface while the interior is boiling water proof. Horns from cows, buffalo or oxen have traditionally been used as drinking vessels by various people in many regions of the world, this fine specimen is a great example of the practice.

The horn stand is made of twisted metal with a black finish. Horn stands are required at feasts and gatherings where people will be using horns to drink because the horn cannot be otherwise set down without spilling its contents.

The color and shape may vary and may not be exactly like the picture.  Item may have minor scratches due to buffing and natural material. When measuring this item we measure it at the spine. This is an all-natural item and you will need to coat inside with beeswax. In order to do this you will melt the beeswax and pour it in the horn. Wait for it to dry and then pull it out. Please wash with a gentle detergent and polish with vegetable oil to keep it from drying out. And from time to time you will want to use beeswax to coat the inside to keep from cracking.  Please do not use hot liquids in this item.
