The Barbuta helmet was mostly popular in Italy during medieval times. The visor addition provided more protection without sacrificing vision and ventilation by allowing the option to lift it if needed. Introducing the Crucial Transformation Visored Barbuta Helmet, a carbon steel 18G piece with a functional visor. Chains on both sides of the visor allow the flexibility necessary for the visor to work and a circular steel piece on the right-hand cheek rotates which allows for the visor to be locked in the down position if desired.
