This dagger is replicated after the original Army Ordnance contracted knife in 1849 by Ames Mtf. Co. This knife was used during the Civil War and only 1000 were made. The Rifleman has a EN45 carbon steel blade that comes oiled to prevent rusting. This knife is a whopping 5.30 mm thick that will need to be sharpened to your specifications.
